We enjoy the services and we feel that our mother is well taken care of. There has been talk about bumping up our mother's services which would be fine but if a move is involved we hope our mother can stay here! I love the friendly faces and the staff is wonderful! We like how nice and bright it is here; bright and cheerful! And our mother loves her apartment!

I have never had a moment’s worry since moving my parents into the assisted living apartment at heritage valley. The staff is very kind and caring and interact with the residents playfully, yet respectfully. The food is well planned and the staff have worked so hard during the epidemic. They keepr everyone safe through to Christmas of 2020. They are conscientious and transparent in their communication and care. I feel fortunate to have my mom with such skilled and empathetic staff. From the day I arrived the staff have been so friendly, they call me by name, which means a lot; they take a personal interest in me. The building is bright and cheerful, the hallways are wide and it's great fun to zoom up and down with my walker! I enjoy the camaraderie at meal time and the meals. I try to contribute in whatever I can but most of all I see myself as an encourager to others.

Having experienced a number of retirement homes and care facilities as my parents aged, I can say for certain that Chartwell Heritage Valley is the very best. I understand that large, corporate retirement homes may not have the best reputations, but my experience proves that Chartwell Heritage Valley is above the others. The facility is clean, safe and well-run, but of course this is simply what one would expect. However, the staff... all of the staff, are an exceptional group of care-givers. How they stepped up to the COVID crisis should be studied for future practice. They were way out in front of the pandemic, and continued to lead throughout. In your search for a retirement place for your loved one, I suggest you start at Chartwell Heritage Valley.
