Lewis Estates Retirement Residence

The staff and management at Lewis Estates Retirement Residence are to be commended. During these trying times due to the pandemic, they have kept the residents safe and well cared for. Mom has been there for a year now and while things are not the same as when she first arrived, staff and management have done their best to find activities that are suitable for a lockdown. Any concerns I have are brought to the attention of management and they are very accommodating in listening and finding an acceptable resolution. No place is perfect but I would not have my mom anywhere else. Thank you!

The staff at Lewis Estates have given excellent care to the residents during the pandemic. They are working diligently to keep everyone safe. The caring attitude is exemplary. Mom feels safe here and I have peace of mind as a consequence.

Excellent staffing. We had an issue with my Mom's room and the situation was handled extremely professionally. Tanya Degrace was exceptional, accommodating and fair. Along with Mike Jones they handled the issue with integrity, genuine concern and with a sense of urgency. Wonderful to deal with professionals that understand the idiosyncrasies of dealing with the elderly, the running of a business along with the concerns of their ''customers'' I will change this to a 5 Star upon completion of the issue. Great job guys !

Beautiful building, great recreational activities, gorgeous dining room, nice sized suites. Extremely clean and well maintained. Super friendly staff. Great menu options and portion sizes, awesome kitchen staff. Smiles everywhere from all the staff. Extremely expensive, not for the average senior on a fixed budget. Poor response time to emergency bell activation. Nursing staff were our major concern. Poor communication, missed physicians orders, lack of urgency to emergent situations. Lack of knowledge and critical thinking from the nurses. Didnt feel safe leaving mom there.

All of the interactions I've had with the staff have been positive, friendly and professional.
