Save On Roofing Edmonton

Needed some shingles replaced after the recent wind storm. They were able to come out and get the job done sooner than others and did it a great price. Really happy with their work, responsiveness and would use again.

Chris was amazing to deal with. He came out right away when we were having roof issues. He communicated when he was coming and what exactly the issues were. He fixed everything himself and explained where the original install may have went wrong. Brad communicated with my husband professionally and respectfully. He even advised that they would assist in fixing the inside home damage with no questions asked. We will definitely be using them in the future and would HIGHLY recommend contacting them for any roofing issues or installs.

I had 3 estimates for my roof replacement. Save On was in the middle of the pack. It was a thousand more than the lowest bid. I liked the way the estimate was presented. It listed the material used. I was called by Taylor the day before the crews arrived. I mentioned to Taylor that water was seeping in from the furnace smoke stack when it rained. He fixed it by caulking around it. He even showed me the picture where rain would get in. Fingers crossed and well done. The roof looked really nice now. There was even a follow up visit. He even swept up the tiny particles from the shingles. Overall, it was worth the thousand bucks.

The crew was professional and got the job done impressively quickly (fully replaced my house's shingles in 1 day). These guys are serious and know what they are doing. They clearly take pride in their work and understand this is a big decision for people. Brad respectfully and promptly responded to my many questions. The inspector, Chris did too and was thorough and helpful. He even went to the neighbour's place (knocked and got their permission) to ensure there was no debris in their yard. That is someone who cares about what they do and the reputation of the company. This kind of customer service is hard to come by these days. We're feeling confident in the work that was done and felt compelled to share our experience. Roof looks great!

Save On Roofing's quote was lower than anyone else's quote and their reviews better than anyone else's as well. Brad's communication was excellent, however the install crew's communication was non-existent. They didn't show up on some days due to questionable weather (which is understandable). Days that they never showed up or were several hours late, they never called. Every time I had to call Brad or Chris to find out what was going on so that we could arrange for our daughter to be elsewhere while they're working (she wouldn't be able to nap while they're working on the roof). They eventually ran out of shingles and couldn't finish some capping, it was on a long weekend so they couldn't get more until Tuesday (again understandable). I was assured that what was left was water tight but when I got home and looked out my window I could see an area that wasn't finished and could see bare plywood. I went out and put duct tape over the areas for peace of mind as there was some rain in the forecast. The work was done very well though and the value was excellent. I was also charged exactly what I was quoted before work had begun. I would recommend save on roofing but wish the crew's communication was better. I was also disappointed that I could see bare plywood after they ran out of shingles and assured me that what wasn't done was water tight.
