After my house fire, Lydale was quick to help me out in a very difficult and traumatic time. I found staff to be polite, compassionate, helpful and accommodating. The repairs & cleaning to my home were done with professionalism & pride in their work. The staff were very polite, kind and understanding. I found they went above customer service & beyond to help me out. Definitely recommend them.

My basement flooded in August, so I needed drywall, paint, flooring and carpentry done to get things back to normal. Lydale was the company that the Insurance company recommended, and if I went with them, then the job would be guaranteed, so I did. Under normal circumstances, given the reviews online, I would have passed by this company. Now I am giving them a 5 start review. I was 100% satisfied with the job that they did. Every single workman that showed up at my place was polite professional, good at their job and willing to go the extra mile to help out. The drywaller, the painter were exceptional and their work spotless. They were also good with my dogs. The basement is back in top order. Given my experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire this company for restoration work.

They took 6 months to restore a basement (about 950 sq. ft., due to sewer backup). Very slow. And their lifetime warranty on workmanship is a joke. They try every excuses to avoid any warranty repairs. There is a one section of baseboard buckled after 4 months of installation. The manager came and spent 5 minutes checking and concluded the buckled baseboard was caused by water infiltration. We are sure there were no new water problem after restoration. The baseboard has had no water stain, no swelling and no mold. And we checked the moisture level of the basement: the air in the basement is actually dryer than outside. And we finally found out they installed very few pin nails on the baseboard! And they're still saying it is not a warranty issue. The above was my original review from August 2020. Dec. 22, 2020 Update: After much debating on what caused the issue, Lydale removed the buckled wall panels and baseboards in mid-November. The drywall behind panels showed no sign of water problem. It was revealed that the panels were not properly glued to drywall and the baseboards were not properly nailed to the studs. Lydale’s carpenter installed new panels and baseboards today. He used both glue and paneling nails to fix the panels, and made sure the baseboards are nailed to the studs. I wish they did this 5 months ago. Thanks to their upper management and the carpenter for correcting the issue. I’ve revised rating from 1 to 4.
